Our client in the automotive industry is currently looking for a Software Engineer

Assignment description and main responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at our client, you will be a creator, transforming their digital vision into working solutions by building digital products, platforms and services using the very latest technology. Thereby, you will, have a direct influence on the digital solutions functionality and how users will interact with it. You will also have to stay on top of the ever-changing technological landscape and invest significant energy in evolving your skills.

Expectations are high, but most who work here will benefit from an intensive learning experience. Teams are expected to adopt a truly tech first, product-focused approach. For many, the autonomy at our client is liberating, challenging and unusual.

Our clients tech stack is modern and free from legacy constraints, mainly based around .NET Core, C#, Typescript, React.js, GraphQL. Applications run in AWS on a serverless architecture using lambda functions and services such as DynamoDB.

What you will do

•           Build applications, often in close collaboration with designers, to optimize trade-offs between technical functionality and end-user experience

•           Design and develop the business logic and back-end systems of the Digital product

•           Ensure the code follows latest coding practices and industry standards

•           Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks

•           Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions

•           Maintaining a close relation to Competence Group Leads and Architecture & Standards team to ensure latest guidelines and guardrails are followed when developing digital solutions

Who you are (Requirements)

•           Senior software engineer with 7-10 years of experience as developer and deep insight into newest technologies and trends

•           Proven experience within the following technical components: .NET Core, C#, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB

•           Minimum 3 years of recent experience in React

•           Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and engineering principles

•           Sound experience from developing applications in a cloud environment

•           Experience from working with event driven micro services

•           Can write effective unit and integration tests

•           Experience as a Developer on a cross-functional agile team preferred

•           Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process and analyse information
