Mobile App QA engineer

Assignment description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile App Tester to join their Mobile App team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for EV technology, an eye for detail, and a strong understanding of the mobile app testing process. 

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile app that enhance the EV user experience. The Mobile app contains features such as Remote Car Controls with connection to our clients vehicles, service booking, user management and other features relevant for their driving customer. New functionality is continuously added to the app.

Start of assignment 2023-11-01 or directly

End of assignment 2023-12-31, with intention to extend into 2024.

Key Responsibilities

As a mobile tester you will be involved in the development steps of the app team such as performing end-to-end testing for iOS and Android platforms, functional testing, regression testing, usability testing, feedback, and improvement.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, sharing insights and recommendations to enhance the quality of the mobile applications and working closely with developers, UX/UI, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate issues, provide feedback, and assist in troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

•           Proven experience in mobile app testing, especially in the context of electric vehicle applications is a plus.

•           Experience in Car Connectivity clouds and troubleshooting within that area is a plus.

•           Familiarity with iOS and Android platforms, and experience with various mobile devices and operating systems.

•           Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•           Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

•           Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

•           Strong analytical skills to identify, document, and track software defects.

•           A passion for electric vehicles and an understanding of the EV industry is a plus.

•           Familiar with Jira, Confluence and related workflows.
