Assignment description and main responsibilities

ur client in the automitive industry is currently looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with expertise in warranty to join our clients Digital Aftermarket team.


The Business Analyst ensures that business and customer perspectives are 

addressed, eliciting information to enable delivery. This role works closely with the team to ensure 

alignment and cross functional collaboration. The Business Analyst works as a liaison among different 

stakeholders to understand their viewpoint, to ensure close alignment among stakeholders and the 

vision set by the Product Manager. In addition, this role provides context around market, competitive 

intelligence and customer needs and pain points, to help the team define the work at hand. As such, 

the BA plays an important role in ensuring the team is aligned, especially across competence areas.


Main responsibilities:

Supporting the team with executing on the Digital Team strategy, through providing fact-based;

analysis of the business/digital environment for the specific digital product/service/platform, by utilizing 

information gathered from a variety of resources and channels;

Driving an MVP mindset across the team, by helping the team defining minimum value and user[1]testable outputs;

Responsible for supporting the creation of business requirements and user stories, for example by 

helping the team clarify acceptance criteria;

Creating and maintaining BA artifacts, and ensures these are of high quality, so that they contribute to 

the overall quality of the digital product/service/platform.


Competence requirements

Experience from Automotive Warranty is a must

Deep technical and process-level knowledge of user needs and pain points, often through 

background as an expert, customer support, process or technical roles

Comfortable with processes/ technology/IT to be able to understand and help problem solve with 

technical team(s), addressing their concerns

Solid understanding of the MVP mindset, understanding value of short term planning

Experience with writing User Stories, decomposing work to drive prioritization

Excellent facilitation skills, able to lead team members through the right activities for expected 

outcomes

Communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs while telling a 

compelling story

Strong leadership and influencing skills, with confidence explaining complex process or technical 

details to diverse groups of people
