Freelance Copywriter & Translator – Part time (40%) – Remote

We are now searching for Copywriters and Translators on behalf of our client in Gothenburg. Here, you will be part of the content and creative team who works to create a unified, engaging experience for current and future customers. Furthermore, you need to be able to think creatively and collaboratively, take initiative and present a wide variety of ideas. Additionally, you should thrive in a team-based environment, but also enjoy working independently.

Your responsibilities will for instance include: 

·      Identify and understand customer needs to be able to create and align content to those needs

·      Writing short digital copies, but also translating from English into local language 

·      Topic research and interviews in order to create successful content

·      Be part of social media campaigns by writing targeted posts and email newsletters in local language 

·      Translations of written content that serves to motivate, inspire, educate etc

Requirements: 

·      Min 3 years of experience of social copy writing and longer web-oriented texts, (preferably travel focused)

·      Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and research skills for various digital channels

·      Experience in translating English copies into your local language, (C1 level)

·      Excellent English to local language translation skills, demonstrated in a professional portfolio

·      Work during agreed-upon hours set together to maximize collaboration

The languages that need to be translated from English are: 

·      German

·      Danish ​

·      Polish ​

·      Dutch

·      Lithuanian​

·      Latvian​

·      Finnish​

·      French​

·      Norwegian 

Scope: up to 40% (3-4 hours a day)
