Domain Architect – Gothenburg

We are now looking for a Domain Architect on behalf of our customer in Gothenburg. As a Domain Architect your main responsibility will be to plan, design, support and govern implementations to achieve the future target landscape you will design. A landscape involving Cloud, on premise COTS and in-house developed applications. 

Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to determine the right design of their solutions and the landscape in which they operate to best support their strategic business direction. You will be part of the architecture function reporting to the Head of Technology & Architecture, but primarily lead architecture work together with the product teams across the entire organization.

As a person it is important that you have a strong strategic background, with great leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, technology, and their challenges. Also, it is important that you have an analytical mind-set, and are a skilled problem-solver. You should have no problem in leading others & leading decision-making in complex organizational environments. In addition, we are looking for someone who have the ability to both build and nurture relationships across the business and provide strategic support in your area of expertise. Your excellent communication skills are well demonstrated, both verbal and written as well in creating technical documentation. 

Your responsibilities will for instance include:

·       Delivering efficient and secure solutions on appropriate platforms and patterns

·       Assist in translating organisational needs into technical requirements or solutions, while evaluating and balancing cost versus value

·       Assess technology choices based on enterprise recommendations 

·       Take lead on design, support documentation and implementation of multiple simultaneous projects by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

·       Maintain close working relationships with the other digital departments 

·       Adhere to company, legal and industry standards in design, patterns and technologies employed where possible, relevant and applicable

·       Support in further developing of their EA strategy

Requirements: 

·       Experience from mapping enterprise architectures through solution and technical architectures

·       Cloud strategies and migrations, DevOps and Security covering both Infrastructure and Applications

·       Enterprise Application Integration, Micro Services architecture, SOA, API Architecture including extensive familiarity with Integration Patterns (Messaging, Routing, Data Transformation etc)

·       Demonstrated background in relevant technology platforms.

·       Experience making architecture decisions across multiple business systems and across a broad enterprise landscape ranging from Business/Application/Infrastructure architecture

·       Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious:

·       Experience from the shipping industry

·       Experience/knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and preferably relevant certification (TOGAF/IAF/ArchiMate etc)
