Infrastructure Expert Hosting

Reason for assignment:

This role is placed in the factory in Gothenburg but also needs to be able to travel to the factory in Kungälv. A lot of the infrastructure tasks are related to the factory and its OT systems. The consultant will be responsible for infrastructure maintenance and participate in projects as a Hosting and Network representative.

Idea and Objectives of Assignment

• Storage (Swedish match uses NetApp)

• Backup (Swedish match uses Veeam, AvePoint

• Patching

• Experience in an OT (Operational Technology) environment is a merit

• Experience in VMware

• Service requests related to infrastructure services and components, especially hosting related

• To operate and maintain reliable, secure, sustainable, and efficient hosting services to fulfill business needs and requirements

• Supporting lifecycle management and internal projects regarding the hosting platform, as well as designing, planning, and implementing new hosting services

• Encourage the adoption of automation in the Hosting Service team

Deliverables and delivery date:

No fixed deliverables, the consultant will work as a Team member of the Network & Hosting Team

B) REQUIREMENTS

• Language skills: Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing

• Competences and abilities: 5+ years of experience working with infrastructure, security awareness, and hosting operations overall

• 5+ years of experience working with servers and applications, especially Linux

• Experienced Scripting with PowerShell

Preconditions:

If everything works well and if the working tasks from time to time allow it’s possible to work from home for a maximum of 2 days/per week. The first month will be 100% at the office.

Customer has the right to prolong the Assignment, in turns, to the same conditions up to

twelve (12) months after the previously stated Completion Date. Notice of prolongation shall be

given by customer to the Consultant one (1) month in advance before each agreed

Completion Date.
