Technical Project Manager
Location : Home working, Occasional meetings in Marseille HO, Deployment on site for specific activities (upto 3 weeks)
Contract Duration : 180 days renewable

Missions:
• Your role as a Technical project manager is initially focused on the clients Terminals Greenfields and/or Brownfield projects.
• You will be in charge of managing projects to deploy IT infrastructures and applications as part of activities of large programs.
• You will be given activities related to other IT marine terminal program/projects worldwide.
• Your project management role shall generally cover quality assurance & test management, change management, training, release & migration management, system integration and management of go-live & post go-live support.
• To execute your role, you are required to work with the software solution experts and IT architects within the Clients IT Terminals Group team as well as the business owners of the required solution.
• You could be required to travel on the project’s site. You are part of the clients IT Terminals Group and report directly to the Head of the IT Terminals Group. Activities: Project management
• Project management includes at least Business scope, budget, planning, dependencies, risk management, major decisions, action’s plan, etc. o Ensure the projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting business needs, objectives and design guidelines.
o Define and implement mitigation plans to manage risks. o Identify the decision required and prepare the elements to be submitted to the top management for decision-making.
o Build, lead and monitor the action plan o Ensure the proper execution of the contract with contractor: Deliverables, activity, task, task duration, processes, etc.
• Release and migration management to ensure that system deliveries and deployments will be coordinated with the customer and with other IT systems from the customer’s IT landscape which shall interact with it via interfaces.
• System integration management. This includes the close communication with all system suppliers and the elaboration of risk management and disaster recovery.
• Training management in order to ensure that all impacted users are trained according to their needs in order to be prepared for their new tasks and business processes. The impacted users must achieve the required level of skills to perform their new or modified roles. T
• Ensure that the software/system solution assigned is protected in accordance with Information Protection Policies and Standards of the company.
• Elaborate and share regular reporting on the progress of the project, particularly updating the “Program Management Journal” (one “PMJ” per project) and the dashboards.
• Lead and work with various actors with different profiles: The company’s CEO, CFO and CIO, Business referent, Regional Leaders, IT architect, Enterprise architect, IT Security project manager, worldwide suppliers, etc.
• Facilitate communication and exchanges between the different project actors (from the holding, the regional area and the terminal).
• Moderate the steering committee, project committee and other project meetings. Ensure the drafting of meeting/committee presentation and minutes.
IT Team organization:
o Build, lead and monitor the Team action’s plan
o Assist all team members in their various tasks o Facilitate the common work between all the team actors
Expertise domains/Technical skills :
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a project manager capable of handling multiple projects is required. • Previous technical experience in networks and systems.
• Professional work experience in the marine terminal industry, preferably in a container or a multi[1]purpose marine terminal is an advantage.
• Must be able to fluently speak/read/write in English.
• Certified courses on project management will be an advantage.
