Do you want to work in the life science and healthcare field with an exciting SaaS solution?

Our customer is now looking for a Data Engineer to join their engineering team.

The customer has a mature Big Data architecture.

The architecture is hosted in AWS Cloud. The environment is open source. Key components are: Java, Spark and Scala.

Who you are:

You need to have a broad understanding of data and domains. You are passionate about bringing simplicity to problems that are complex. You have a sharp technical mind and feel passionate about working in You are also passionate about working product-based and building data platforms.

You are experienced with:

* Pipelines using Apache Spark

* Monitoring and automating workflows

* Java (good knowledge)

* Unix

Good to have:

* AWS and its services

* Apache Airflow or similar

* Experience with fetching traditional, relational data to semi- or unstructured data

* Elasticsearch and Postgres

* Knowledge in Python and Scala

* A dedication to testing, code review etc.
