Supplier Quality Engineer – Auxillary and Electrical
Job Responsibilities
• Qualification of supplier and their processes for new or existing products
o Supplier Audits
o Product and Process Qualification
• Analysis of root causes, ensuring implementation of corrective and preventative actions together with the supplier via for example 8D, 5 Why etc.
• Continuously develop suppliers’ processes and abilities (Supplier Development)
• General Supplier Quality Planning & Oversight
o Assist in transfer of SQ responsibility during project execution to PR P SQM
o Create Source Oversight QA Plans (frequency, content, competence needed)
• Develop Project Specific Supplier Quality Assurance Plans
o Act as a main Supplier Quality interface to Projects and Purchasing
o Establish supplier oversight plan as required for project risk mitigation
o Assess capability of supply base to fulfil customer specific project requirements and purchasing plan
o Ensure needed resources are available to execute SQ project plan
• Execution during Project
o Ensure oversight plan is executed
o Perform qualifications, assessments, audits at Suppliers as needed
o Attend CWPs (customer witness points) at Supplier
o Review Supplier Quality Documentation (MQCP/ITP, MRB, etc)
• Ongoing Supplier Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
o Assess Supplier KPIs – OTD, NCCs, Defect Rate
o Initiate & Track Improvement Activities
Corrective Actions/Preventive Actions
Supplier Development
o Quality Agreements
o Incorporate Lessons Learned into Project Risk Mitigation Plans
• Ability and willingness to travel both domestic and international
Job Specifications:
Education: Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations, preferably in the field of electrical engineering
Years' Experience: 0 - 10 years of relevant experience
Skills:
• Knowledge of Siemens Supplier Quality Engineering processes and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated analytical skills to proactively identify and solve problems
• Able to solve complex problems; makes decisions based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
• Ability to improve products or services by applying professional and business knowledge
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written (English) communication skills to drive tasks to completion

The person can be a newly graduated engineer in electrical engineering.
