Description: We are looking for a measurement Engineer working within Field Test & Measurement support team
As a Measurement Engineer, you will play a key role in our field‑testing operations. You will secure high‑quality data from our field tests through telematic systems and work at the forefront of measurement system development.
Your responsibilities include driving projects to gather and analyze requirements for what and how to measure on our field‑test objects. You will plan and execute measurement activities together with the team and ensure that our telematic solutions are correctly configured, reliable, and up to date.
You will also keep track of measurement hardware—including cables, telematics units, and related equipment—and manage cost follow-up. The role includes close collaboration with the Testing Technology department at Truck Technology Industrial Division in Volvo Group

Your background:
Experience of working with telematics‑based measurement systems
Strong knowledge of measurement technologies and communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet
Understanding of diesel engines, aftertreatment systems or electromobility systems
Fluency in Swedish and English
Academic degree (BSc or MSc), preferably in Electronics or a related field
