Cyber Security Project Manager – IAM

We are looking for an IAM Project Manager for an assignment based in Stockholm. The role requires full-time availability (100%). Remote work setup will be agreed upon. The assignment is planned to start on May 1, 2026, and continue until October 31, 2026.


This role is responsible for leading IAM-related initiatives end-to-end, from ideation through implementation and optimization, with full accountability for business and customer value delivered.


The consultant will take ownership of defining the project mission and OKRs, translating these into a prioritized roadmap and team backlog, and communicating progress to key stakeholders. The role includes leading cross-functional technical teams, ensuring alignment with business value, and driving execution in collaboration with other teams.


The consultant is also expected to identify opportunities to improve IAM strategies, policies, and processes, as well as coach stakeholders on best practices within identity and access management. The role involves identifying and resolving IAM-related issues, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams. Defining MVPs, managing backlog priorities, and making strategic trade-offs to enable fast feedback cycles are key aspects of the role.


Requirements:


  • Mid-level experience (approximately 3–6 years in a similar role)
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams with multiple dependencies
  • Experience managing projects involving cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
  • Strong ability to define roadmaps, OKRs, and manage project backlogs
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts and best practices
  • Experience documenting IAM processes and reporting on IAM activities
  • Good understanding of directory services (e.g. Active Directory, Azure AD, B2B/B2C, Microsoft Entra, Azure AD Identity Governance)
  • Familiarity with IAM/PAM solutions (e.g. SailPoint, One Identity, Saviynt, CyberArk)
  • Structured and pragmatic approach in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to execute quickly
  • Hands-on mindset with a willingness to solve problems as needed
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
