Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer (Cyber Security Area)

We are looking for a technically strong and communicative Data Engineer/Analytics Engineer to join our Cyber Defence Center. In this role, you will contribute to building, developing, and maintaining modern data platforms that support the organization's security operations. You will work in an environment where data is central to identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats – placing high demands on data quality, scalability, and security awareness.

Mandatory Requirements

Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written (working proficiency level)

Minimum 5 years of documented experience within the majority of the following technical areas:

Snowflake or equivalent enterprise data platform

Python – for data processing, automation, and pipeline development

SQL – advanced query construction and data manipulation

Azure – cloud-based infrastructure and data services

Data Modelling – design of scalable and maintainable data models

Data Warehouse – implementation and management of centralized data repositories

Meriting Competencies (Highly Advantageous)

Cybersecurity – understanding of security principles, threat landscapes, and how data is used in security monitoring, for example within SOC or SIEM environments

Data Analytics – ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to drive insights and informed decision-making

Data Visualization – experience with tools such as Streamlit, Power BI, or similar platforms for presenting data in an accessible and actionable way

Continuous Deployment / CI/CD – experience with automated build and deployment pipelines, for example via GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tooling

DBT (Data Build Tool) – for data transformation and version control within modern data stack environments

Your ability to combine deep technical expertise with an understanding of the cybersecurity domain makes you a key contributor to the team.
