Test Lead Fin ERP Implementation

We’re looking for an experienced Test Lead to support our Workday Financials implementation within the Fin ERP Program. The role involves planning, coordinating, and managing all test activities to ensure a structured, high-quality process across multiple teams and stakeholders. You’ll onboard with the current Test Lead during spring and take full responsibility after the summer.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Preparation

• Define test scope and objectives for each phase.
• Maintain detailed UAT schedules and assign test execution.
• Ensure testers have required access and training in Azure DevOps and Workday.
• Support creation of consistent, high-quality test cases.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate testing with functional teams, consultants, and business testers.
• Facilitate defect triage, ensuring prioritization and resolution.
• Serve as primary contact for all testing-related matters.
• Collaborate with Change Management and Training teams on UAT and end-user readiness.

Quality Assurance & Reporting

Track progress, report risks, and update project leadership.

Ensure compliance with test processes and quality standards.

Provide test reports and input for go/no-go decisions.

Post Go-Live Support

• Define approach for regression and release testing.
• Support transition from project testing to BAU processes.

Who You Are

A structured, detail-oriented Test Lead skilled at guiding testers and coordinating across complex organizations. You combine strong communication and leadership with hands-on expertise in ERP testing, ensuring quality through every phase.

Skills and Competences

ERP & Workday Knowledge

• Strong understanding of ERP processes, preferably Workday Finance (Accounting, Customer/Supplier, Assets).
• Experience in Financial ERP implementations.

Testing & QA Expertise

• Experience in structured test processes for ERP or large transformation programs.
• Excellent understanding of test case design, traceability, defect management, and coordination.
• Ability to support business testers in writing clear test cases.

Tools

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Azure DevOps (test management, defect tracking, dashboards, access setup).
