We’re looking for a Product Owner – Finance Digital & IT Solutions to join the Group CIO’s organization within a leading global industrial company. You’ll be part of the IT for Group Functions team, driving digitalization and IT initiatives for core corporate areas such as HR, Communications, Legal, and Finance. The team leads transformation efforts, manages critical application portfolios, and acts as a trusted partner to the organization in matters of IT strategy, security, and innovation.
The role
In this assignment, you’ll lead the development and implementation of digital solutions for the Finance organization. Acting as a strategic business partner, you’ll identify opportunities to digitalize core finance processes, integrate emerging technologies, and ensure scalable, value-driven solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Drive digital finance initiatives end-to-end using agile methods.
- Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Measure and report progress to senior management, ensuring business impact.
- Lead change management and promote adoption of new digital tools.
- Stay on top of technological trends and apply innovation pragmatically.
- Ensure delivery within scope, quality, and budget.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
- Proven experience leading digital transformation within large organizations.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and technologies such as cloud, data analytics, AI/ML, and IoT.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills – able to engage stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse teams.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business value.
- Experience with SAP is highly desirable, and competence within data analytics or AI/ML will be considered a strong advantage.
