Role Description

The role of a Senior Product Owner within Lynk & Co is to understand the product and know who uses it and why. For the aftermarket application landscape, this means holding end to end product ownership of core systems supporting workshops, service operations, diagnostics, parts and regulatory compliance.


This role is the voice of the product, with a deep understanding of its purpose, users and its place in the broader Lynk & Co ecosystem. It requires strong knowledge of automotive aftermarket operations, system integrations and the regulatory framework surrounding vehicle and workshop data.


The Senior Product Owner manages and prioritizes the product backlog, collaborates closely with stakeholders and external suppliers, plans releases and ensures that development is aligned with the product roadmap, operational needs and Uptime business priorities. The role acts as the link between business and technology, ensuring that the applications evolve in a stable, compliant and value driven way.


Key responsibilities

• Hold full product ownership of assigned aftermarket applications including roadmap and lifecycle management

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is continuously updated and aligned with roadmap and Uptime business priorities

• Responsible for stakeholder relationships including super users in workshops and support functions

• Lead sprint planning and release coordination in alignment with roadmap and agreed deadlines

• Ensure understanding of user needs and that these are reflected in product direction and priorities

• Act as primary interface towards external system suppliers and ensure effective collaboration

• Ensure stability, performance and long term sustainability of the applications

• Ensure alignment between the aftermarket applications and the broader Lynk & Co system landscape and integrations

• Contribute with technical expertise in testing, installation and configuration of the in car digital user manual

• Define and govern frameworks and processes for system access handling

• Act as epic owner for larger development initiatives


Additional responsibilities:


• Act as GDPR single point of contact for Uptime Systems system portfolio

• Provide internal support and subject matter expertise within RMI and bulk RMI, including contribution to audits and regulatory topics

• Drive improvements in service delivery by leveraging technical solutions such as APIs, automation and data tools.


Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a product owner or similar role within complex system landscapes

• Extensive experience within automotive aftermarket systems and workshop operations

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development lifecycle

• Experience with backlog management tools such as Azure DevOps

• Experience working with external software suppliers and distributed development teams

• Solid understanding of integrations, APIs and data flows

• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, DTC management, ECU architecture and software update processes within an aftermarket environment

• Technical understanding of Android based in car applications, ECU deployment and cloud based distribution models

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Deep understanding of Lynk & Co business model and internal ecosystem, with the ability to make informed decisions based on user value and business impact

• Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for the product

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to automotive data and RMI

• Previous experience of Lynk&Co Workshop System portfolio is an advantage.
