Software Product Manager - Lynk & Co

Role description
The Software Product Manager (SPM) is responsible for defining, maintaining, and securing the integrity of the Baseline Software Structure (BSS) and Software Products (SP) for the EU market. This role ensures that all software structures are validated, aligned with market requirements, and ready for deployment across vehicle platforms.
The SPM acts as a central coordination point between engineering teams, testing stakeholders, and software delivery functions. By gathering input from ECU owners, managing release notes and overseeing workflow processes, SPM ensures that new software is released in an organized manner.
As vehicle software evolves continuously, SPM must adapt to frequent changes, identify risks early, communicate and collaborate closely with global teams to maintain a stable and efficient software release pipeline.
Key responsibilities
• Ensure correctness and readiness of all BSS and SP configurations for the EU market
• Secure alignment between software structures and diagnostic/technical requirements
• Maintain high‑quality release documentation for all software deliveries
• Identify risks early and escalate issues impacting CRB releases
• Drive improvements in software structure workflows and documentation processes
• Calling for and managing software release forums
Qualifications & Skills
• 5+ years of experience working with Teamcenter PLM system focused on software structure
• 3+ years experience of working with aftermarket software download tools.
• Some form of project management training
• 5+ years of working with release notes

• A team-player with the ability to drive, motivate and convince

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Understanding of automotive aftersales and workshop processes is an advantage
• Cultural awareness, China – European culture is a plus
