Our customer within automotive are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with focus on AWS to join their Cloud Platform team. As part of the team, you will play a key role in shaping, developing, and operating our multi-cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will contribute to building secure, cost-efficient, and developer-friendly cloud services, empowering product and engineering teams across the company.


This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in AWS architecture, software development practices, and DevOps tooling, who is also passionate about community building and driving adoption of best practices across a large organization.


Deliveries


Cloud Architecture & Engineering

• Design and evolve AWS-based solutions to support enterprise workloads, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance.

• Contribute to our multi-cloud strategy (AWS, GCP, Azure) and provide cross-platform architectural guidance.

• Develop and maintain boilerplates, reference architectures, and automation to accelerate cloud adoption.


Platform Services

• Provide expertise in observability (Datadog, Cloudflare) and cost optimization, ensuring efficient use of cloud resources.

• Enable teams to work autonomously through governance, guardrails, and developer tooling.

• Drive adoption of CI/CD practices using GitHub and modern software development workflows.


Community & Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor to internal engineering teams, supporting them with best practices in cloud architecture, security, and cost management.

• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, communities of practice, and developer enablement initiatives.

• Partner with stakeholders across technology, security, and finance to align cloud usage with business goals.


Competence requirements


Technical Expertise

• Deep hands-on experience with AWS architecture and services (compute, storage, networking, security, IAM).

• Experience with GCP and/or Azure in a multi-cloud context.

• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, software development tooling, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).

• Proven experience with observability platforms (CloudWatch, Datadog)

• Experience in cost optimization and FinOps practices.

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

The Cloud Platform team is a senior, highly experienced group of engineers and technical leads working across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The team consists primarily of senior-level individuals with strong backgrounds in cloud architecture, software engineering, and platform operations.
