Job Description - Daily tasks
As a Program Manager, you will drive high priority, strategic, tech initiatives within OMNI. The initial program is Digital Returns and start date is needed in February to cover for a person going on maternity leave. This role is also to be part of the Program Management team and thus, contribute to ways of working and supporting other leads as needed. Must have at least 2 years experience already as a program manager.
You will play a key role in aligning stakeholders, managing project teams, and bringing clarity to complex situations. You will be part of the Program Management team within Portfolio Brands Tech, a collaborative and cross-functional group focused on delivering key initiatives. The team has focus on delivering and rolling out strategic OMNI capabilities. You will regularly collaborate with product teams, solution architects, external vendors, and stakeholders across multiple brands.
- Lead cross-functional programs to develop and rollout new technology and capabilities
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across brands, product teams, Business Tech, and other departments.
- Run program steering groups by presenting clear, outcome-oriented recommendations.
- Collaborate with architects and tech leads while maintaining full ownership of program execution.
- Contribute to the Program Management best practices by driving internal improvements and mentoring new team members.
Technical Skills
- Experience and knowledge with Digilal Returns needed as it will be the first program assigned
- Experience, knowledge and passion for OMNI, operations and technology
- Years of experience leading complex projects/programs involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers and functions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to bring structure and calm to uncertainty
- Able to see the big picture but also the details behind it
- Familiarity with technical infrastructure
- Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting recommendations clearly
- A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to take initiative and get things done
- Create structure and direction from complex or incomplete inputs and ensure alignment across teams.
- Familiar with tools including Anaplan, Inititaive cost showback report, VIM, Jira and Miro
