Technical Lead for ADAS

We are looking for a senior Technical Lead with a strong combination of hands-on technical depth and proven leadership ability for a consulting assignment within advanced automotive systems.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering execution, supplier collaboration, and system ownership. You will act as the central technical interface between internal development teams and external sensor/compute suppliers, driving complex initiatives from concept to integration.

Key Responsibilities

Component Ownership & Selection

Own and manage the lifecycle of sensing and compute components, including LiDAR, Radar, Cameras, and Compute units.

Lead RFI/RFQ processes, technical evaluations, and requirement definitions in close collaboration with stakeholders.

Technical Project Leadership

Coordinate cross-functional work across software, hardware, mechanical, and purchasing teams.

Proactively remove blockers, align dependencies, and ensure delivery according to plan.

System-Level Responsibility

Ensure the complete sensor and compute platform meets system-level requirements related to performance, power consumption, safety, and robustness.

Stakeholder & Supplier Interface

Serve as the technical counterpart towards suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and execution.

Required Background

Senior experience from automotive development, preferably within ADAS / ADS domains

Strong understanding of sensor and compute platforms and their integration in vehicle systems

Solid grasp of E/E architecture, including CAN and Ethernet

Conceptual understanding of functional safety and system safety (e.g. SOTIF, HARA)

Proven ability to combine technical depth with leadership and delivery focus

A pragmatic, proactive mindset — you are a doer, not just a coordinator
