Role/Job title: Experienced Front-End Developer with Kubernetes & AWS Expertise

In Gothenburg or Luleå

Assignment Description

We’re looking for a front-end focused developer to join us on an exciting journey to build the next generation of our Condition Monitoring Solutions.

Our mission is to turn machine data into actionable insights that help industrial machines run longer and more efficiently. This project plays a key role in realizing SKF’s strategy for intelligent and clean growth. You’ll be part of a team developing a modern web application that delivers a top-notch user experience and helps users quickly and confidently detect issues in their machinery.

While your main focus will be on front-end development, the nature of the project means that over time, you may also get involved in back-end work—especially as we continue to evolve and expand the solution.

Your Responsibilities and Day-to-Day Tasks

Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using TypeScript, JS, ReactJS, HTML, CSS, Svelte with a strong focus on performance and usability.

Work closely with designers and back-end developers to create seamless user experiences.

Integrate with cloud services and APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and real-time updates from our condition monitoring systems.

Leverage your knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS to support deployment and scalability of the frontend application.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with the team to ensure security, reliability, and maintainability of the application.

Be open to contributing to backend development (primarily in Golang) as the project evolves.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Document your work to support deployment, onboarding, and future development.

Who We Are and What We Value

We work in small, autonomous teams where collaboration and trust are key. We believe in giving teams the freedom to decide how to work best, and we support each other when challenges arise. You’ll thrive here if you’re proactive, curious, and enjoy solving complex problems together with others.

Our domain—industrial applications and condition monitoring—can be complex, but we’ll support your learning journey. What we ask in return is a genuine interest in understanding our products and the environment they operate in.

We’re at the beginning of an exciting transformation, building a new ecosystem for condition monitoring. It’s a challenging but rewarding journey, and you’ll have the chance to shape our solutions from the ground up.
