Your mission
As a Business Analyst, your mission is to lead and conduct Implementation of a locally developed Purchasing System “Dealer Point Purchase Plus”. Occasionally you will be asked to make gap analyses and scope definitions, identifying the business requirements. The implementation will also demand that you, coordinate technical activities, take the lead on determining and recommending the priorities, ensuring the change management and following-up the time-plan.
You will analyse and determine how the Volvo developed Purchase system (DPP+) is to be configured in order to enable an effective purchase process and effectively communicate through an existing interface with SAP and translate these settings into what business value it provides to users and other stakeholder’s.
You will be part of a high performing multicultural team working agile. Outside your team, you interact daily with our business stakeholders including dealer end-users.
You are passionate about delivering business value to the end-users, you define changes in our products which fulfill our stakeholder needs and at the same time support our product vision and our ambitious transformation journey. You are able to apply a co-creation approach to ensure a great user experience. You contribute to monitoring the business value delivered.
You are effective in establishing relationships with our business stakeholders (including our dealer end-users) enabling regular feedbacks and continuous improvement on our products and our ways of working.
You contribute to ensure a good digital adoption on our products including contributing to our training strategy.
Who are you?
• You have a proven experience as a business analyst.
• You are able to analyse and determine how the Volvo developed Purchase system (DPP+) is to be configured in order to enable an effective purchase process and effectively communicate through an existing interface with SAP and translate these settings into what business value it provides to users and other stakeholder’s.
• You are curious, you possess a Customer value driven mindset and you are passionate about understanding customer needs and finding the most appropriate solution for them.
• You excel in leading and facilitating ideation workshops that unleash the collective intelligence and you master tools like miro, draft.io or equivalent.
• You are a team player, able to effectively communicate with your cross-functional and multi-cultural team and various stakeholders on different levels and positions in the organization.
• You are able to balance managing the scope and getting the job done within an as short as possible time, while achieving stakeholder satisfaction.
• You have a hands-on experience with agile way of working, able to apply Design Thinking and you have a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with writing and understanding A3 documents, business cases, epics, features and user story’s and the prioritization of these based on Business Value.
• Actions and results oriented, well organized, transforming a vision into tangible actions is natural for you.
• Working in a changing environment is not a problem for you. You like challenges.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationship with stakeholders is innate to you.
• You understand purchase and financial processes.
• Knows how to build interfaces from a business point of view, and from a technical point of view you understand different formats of files/API's (i.e. Flat text files/XML or Jason files/API's)
• You have experience from working in large and complex organisations combined with retail experience
• Able and willing to regularly travel
