Description: Volvo Group Connected Solutions is looking for a Software Engineer Senior (Java backend).

The role:

We are looking for an experienced Java backend developer and are looking for curious minds that love innovation and are interested in the future of mobility. You will be part of a diverse DevOps team that works in two-week sprints and in ten-week program increments.

About you:

We are now looking to expand the team with a Senior Java backend developer stationed in Gothenburg. You have experience in DevSecOps and working in a development team.

In summary you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in backend Java programming, preferably using technologies like Spring Boot, JMS, RelDb (or similar tools) and AWS (Serverless, nodeJ)

• Solid experience in using Unix, Linux

• Experience from Test-driven development (TDD)

• Experience of Agile way of working

Good:

• Understanding of scalability and experience of load tests

• Understanding of Micro services architecture and design

Merits:

• Experience in UDP, Binary SMS and sat-com

• Experience n ASN1

• Experience in Automotive industry and connectivity.

Any additional knowledge of connected applications, CI/CD, CDK, Code Pipelines, Docker, Serverless development, load testing and application profiling is a bonus. We put the emphasis on who you are as a person, and we believe that your personality is the major reason for you to succeed in this role.

You are required to be working a few days at our office in Lindholmen per week.
