SE_Software Engineer_Principal

This role focuses on guiding and supporting API providers throughout their API journey by offering expert advice on API and integration topics. Key responsibilities include:

Defining and promoting best practices for modern development and emerging technologies.

Building and maintaining a toolkit framework to streamline API development and adoption.

Creating comprehensive documentation to ensure consistency, scalability, and security across teams.

Leveraging Azure DevOps to implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines.

Team & Collaboration:

You’ll be part of the TIL API team, a group of six skilled professionals passionate about API and integration work, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Technical Expertise: Strong background in IBM API Connect, Azure, REST, GraphQL, and programming languages like TypeScript, Python, .NET, or Java.

Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with API lifecycle management, gateways, event-driven architecture, and security protocols like OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.

Cloud & Automation: Experience with Azure PaaS services and automation tools, especially Azure DevOps.

Professional Experience: 6+ years in API management and development, with a commitment to continuous learning.

Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and adaptability to evolving technologies and requirements.
