Solution Architect
As an Architect in our clients iPaaS Stable team, you will serve as a Technical Lead, responsible for shaping the architecture, design, best practices and frameworks for iPaaS. iPaaS digital product is a critical and most focused product of our clients API & Integration portfolio. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Digital Product Owner and fellow architects and engineers to drive the product strategy, vision, and roadmap development. You should have strong integration expertise and have played a key role in enabling the iPaaS platform in an enterprise level. Hands-on experience in designing, developing, deploying and process around managing the Integration flows/processes/recipes is essential.
As an iPaaS Architect, you will define the reference architecture, governance model for iPaaS usage, and best practices, while also establishing integration architecture guardrails connected to iPaaS and guidelines for implementation. You will act as a technical ambassador, driving the iPaaS adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive iPaaS architecture – Establish the reference architecture, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Develop operational guidelines for iPaaS platform usage – Establish standardized ways of working with the iPaaS platform. Define and implement best practices for using iPaaS platform. Define processes around provisioning the platform.
- Lead architectural discussions – Guide engineers and architects in designing scalable and efficient iPaaS-based integration solutions.
- Act as an iPaaS ambassador – Enable business units to effectively leverage iPaaS by providing guidance and fostering adoption.
- EDI and File transfer capabilities in iPaaS – Drive EDI and file-based integration solutions using iPaaS.
- Identification of overlapping capabilities – Validate existing capabilities from other tools over the iPaaS capabilities and ensure duplicate tools do not exist for similar capabilities. Define long term strategic goals to achieve this.
- Collaborate with segment architects – Gather requirements, align with architectural directions, and communicate these effectively to the team.
- Support technical roadmap and planning – Assist the Digital Product Owner (DPO) in defining the technical roadmap and delivery plans, balancing short-term needs with long-term vision.
- Translate high-level requirements into actionable work items – Clearly define purpose, scope, and expected outcomes for development tasks.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles – Secure adherence to the North Star architecture and ensure compliance with security directives and policies.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in integration implementation and architecture
- Hands-on experience in implementing processes/workflows/recipes/integration flows from scratch using any industry leader iPaaS platform, with expertise in configuration of connectors for major CRM platform, spend management systems, REST enabled SaaS solutions, event platforms etc.
- Sound knowledge on the data mapping, transformation, data enrichment needs and implementation of same in the appointed iPaaS platform.
- Should have knowledge around at least one iPaaS specific scripting like Java scripting, Groovy, Python, Ruby etc.
- Good understanding around how the iPaaS platform cost is driven, how to manage the performance of the platform etc.
- Sound knowledge around security, isolations, compliance related topics in iPaaS platform.
- Expertise in designing and implementing integration architectures.
- High level understanding of API-led integration architecture.
- Familiarity with Observability tools such as OpenTelemetry and Splunk.
- Experience working in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Knowledge of SAFe agile methodologies is advantageous.
- Prior experience as part of a central integration team, enabling integration products and defining processes and methodologies for product adoption.
