Lead Developer (React Native) – Stockholm

Stockholm (40% remote)

We are looking for a Lead Developer on behalf of our customer in Stockholm. In the role, you will lead the technical development of their mobile app which is used by hundreds of thousands every month. You will take technical ownership of their new app, which is built in React Native, designed for long-term scalability, strong performance and a smooth, engaging user experience. The role is approximately 50% coding, and the rest focused on architecture, collaboration etc.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of architecture, performance and code quality
Lead the development of the client’s new mobile app using React Native
Collaborate with backend, product and design to turn needs into scalable solutions
Continuously improve code, testing practices and team workflows
Work closely with business key stakeholders regarding app roadmap & strategy.

As a person you should be supportive, kind, curious and lead by example in the code. Furthermore, you have the willingness to support and mentor other developers.

Requirements:

Senior developer with Solid experience and strong skills developing apps in React Native
APIs, performance and deployment pipelines
automated UI and E2E testing
Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams
Fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken

Tech stack: React Native, Expo, TypeScript, GraphQL and REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, App Store and Google Play deployment, automated testing.

Location: Stockholm, onsite 3 days/week
