Logistic Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced consultant with extensive expertise in large and complex IT implementation projects, particularly those impacting logistics processes. The consultant will take on the role of Logistics Project Manager and be responsible for overseeing the Logistics track.

Place: Gothenburg 

Start: ASP

End: 6 months from commencement date with possibility to prolongation

Workload: 30 h/week (can be adjusted between 20 to 39 h/week). If everything works well and if the working tasks from time to time allows it’s possible to work from home for a maximum of 2 days/week. The first month will be 100% at the office.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Assign and oversee resources effectively
• Implement project, change, and service management methodologies
• Facilitate communication and coordination, including regular project status updates
• Manage the project within the defined scope, budget, resources, and timeline
• Ensure comprehensive and clear project documentation is produced and shared
• Improve quality, reduce risks, and handle scope changes and stakeholder expectations
• Track and assess performance, offering constructive feedback on deliverables to assigned team members
• Address and resolve complex project-related challenges
• Analyze business needs, define requirements, propose optimal solutions, validate the financial plan, and drive required changes

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in business with any of the following Supply Chain Management, IT management or a related field is preferred.
• Fluent English and Swedish in speech and writing, merit Danish in speech and writi
•  Proven experience in project management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and order management systems and procedures.
• Proficiency in ERP Dynamics, Microsoft Office
• To lead a project team and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain, warehouse, and transportation operations
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Solution-focused with strong organizational skills.
