Our client is looking for a DevEx focused Software Engineer to be a part of their team. The team consists of 3 people focusing on Developer Experience (DX). Working with node backends and a web page. This team is dedicated to helping scale our clients project, introducing new technology and reducing the current technical debt. Team responsibilities such as:

• CI/CD Pipelines

• Developer Tools (CLI tools, scripts, etc)

• Observability and monitoring

• Coordinating framework upgrades

• Automating repetitive tasks

• Performing prototype experiments of new technologies

• Refactor and uplift existing functionality with the same requirements as currently implemented

• And more

Assignment duration and desired start date: Immediate, at least 1-2 years

Scope: 100%

Location: Mölndal (Gothenburg) at least 3 days/week

Experience level: Minimum 3 years

Language: Fluent English, Swedish is a big plus

Job description and Overview of responsibilities

• The team is now looking to expand with one more developer with focus on DevOps & DevEx to

strenghten the capabiltiies to support the developers. Work tasks such as:

• Troubleshooting & supporting developers which runs into problems with:

• Local dev environment

• CI/CD automation etc

• Coordinate & perform framework upgrades

• Identify & find solutions for pain points to improve DevEx

• Development of CI/CD and automation enabling scaling of the product

Required skills:

• TypeScript (or other scripting languages such as Python, Ruby). Our tech stack is based on

TypeScript with some bash.

• CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

• NodeJS

• Worked with development of CI/CD

• Grafana

• Worked with build & artifact management systems (Gradle, NPM, Cocoapods, etc.)

• Linux (bash, etc.)

• Used to work in a terminal

• API Design

• React

• AWS (or other cloud provider)

• Working with mono repositories (frameworks such as NX)

• Docker

Education:

• 3 years+ of relevant Software Engineering experience

Personal qualities:

• Creative problem solver - can tackle unique problems where there's not a clear solution in

sight from the beginning

• Driven and good at working autonomously

• Curious and with broad knowledge, know little about a lot of things rather then a lot on very

specific subjects

• Social & communicative
