Our client is looking for a Identity & Access Management Engineer (IAM Engineer). As an IAM Engineer, you and your team will handle access and identity management for all digital identities within the company. This team, part of the IT operations group, focuses on developing and maintaining the infrastructure essential for their users. The Identity team also plays a crucial role in supporting numerous business projects that involve end-user access, working closely with both the business and the IT security team. 

In this Identity Specialist role, you use your expertise to help our business and guide them through their security and architectural principles to ensure a perfect match between their request and IT’s policies. Additionally, you will act as a third-line specialist for service requests and incidents. Our clients IT environment utilizes a hybrid Active Directory, follows a Cloud First strategy, and encourages the use of SaaS solutions. 


Primary responsibilities – include but are not limited to: 

  • Ensure their systems and applications are set up according to their security policies, managing identity and access securely to protect our clients organization.
  • Participate in business projects related to identity and access management tasks.
  • Handle service requests and incidents escalated from second-line support within your area of expertise.
  • Automate processes using scripts to enhance efficiency, flexibility, and security, continually improving where possible.


It all starts with you! 

To excel in this role, our client believe you have prior experience as a technician in a datacenter environment. You have worked with both Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID and are adept at navigating features like Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Protection. 

You possess a mindset geared towards automating processes and tasks to maximize efficiency, security, and scalability. As the team's tasks can evolve over time, your ability to adapt and be flexible is highly valued. 

You also have: 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent IT work experience.
  • Experience with Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.


Preferred but not mandatory: 

  • Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
  • Basic understanding of PKI.
