Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems on AWS, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Design, develop and maintain appropriate APIs needed to support frontend developers with easy to use, well performing, APIs.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to build robust web-based solutions and enable development of mobile apps.

• Optimize application performance and eMiciency, considering factors like resource utilization and scalability.

• Implement best practices for security, reliability, and maintainability in a containerized environment.

• Contribute to a fast-paced project team with a focus on agile development

Essential requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway) and

Docker/Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of database management, both NoSQL (primarily MongoDB) and SQL,

and their deployment in containerized environments.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and their

implementation.

• Previous experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations with Active Directory

(AD) in a containerized environment.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), specifically

PayloadCMS.

• Passion for building innovative solutions and delivering results in a cloud-native

environment
