Our client in Stockholm is seeking a Cobol Developer to join their team. This position involves managing and updating legacy Cobol systems, integrating them with modern technologies, ensuring their operational efficiency , business, finance, and administrative systems.

Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Job Type: Full-Time

Start: ASP

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Cobol applications and databases.
Analyze and refine existing Cobol code to improve performance and scalability.
Work collaboratively to define system requirements and achieve successful integration of old and new systems.
Provide troubleshooting and debugging support to optimize system functionality.
Document all technical procedures and changes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in Cobol programming, including familiarity with JCL, DB2, and CICS.
Understanding of SQL and database management practices.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
