Senior DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure and Automation

Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps engineer who excels at analyzing complex issues in a microservice architecture and has solid coding/scripting experience. Attention to detail, proactivity, and problem-solving skills are key, as is the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

Location: Gothenburg, minimum 3 days on site

Language: Fluent English

Overview of responsibilities

• Extensive experience working with IaC, Kubernetes, CI/CD.

• Experience working with any of the major cloud providers, preferably AWS.

• Good knowledge in designing cloud infrastructure and best practices is a plus.

• Experience engineering and building Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.

• A service minded team player with a quality driven approach

• Provide high quality support, drive trouble shooting, RCAs and be advisor to Dev teams

• Participate in handover from config/release

• Handle and drive software deployments

• Monitoring platform Services

• Strive to increase automation framework with CI/CD

• Be a leading star for continuous improvements and innovations

Required skills & experience

• +3 years within Linux and Network administration

• Experience working with Database administration, i.e. MongoDB

• Understanding of Cloud infrastructure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker and Microservices

• Working with CI/CD, automation implementation, infrastructure as code etc

• Experience with GitHub, Jira and ServiceNow

• Software development skills in Python

• +5 years within Linux and Network administration

• +5 years within administrating Cloud infrastructure (AWS), Kubernetes, Docker and

Microservices architecture.

Experience working with Application Performance Monitoring tools, (Prometheus and

Grafana).

• Experience working with centralized logging platforms (e.g., Elastic stack, Splunk, Datadog).

• Experience in Identification/Access Management such as SAML and OAuth
