Role:

Reviewing high-risk products/ activities, conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and issuing DPO opinions, providing data breach management support, participating in DPO Team meetings, supporting ongoing key initiatives, and providing ad hoc privacy advisory support.


Essential requirements:


• Detailed working knowledge of the EU data protection legislation, data protection authorities' decisions and guidance and national and EU-level case law.


• Passion for data privacy, data ethics and technology and for upholding a fundamental right to data protection in the business context.


• Extensive practical experience in embedding privacy by design concepts in the business and technological processes, privacy controls design, implementation and monitoring.


• Attention to detail and high legal drafting skills that can be used in a commercial setting with business stakeholders, as well as in a public setting with data subjects and data protection authorities.


• Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; ability to communicate clearly and convincingly and to present complex concepts in an accessible manner to technical and non-technical audiences.


• Professional certifications, including Certified Information Privacy Professional EU (CIPP/EU) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) or similar.
