Copywriter & Translator Eng/Sv (75%) – Remote

We are now searching for a copywriter who can translate from English to Sweden and vice versa and create new texts on both Swedish and English. It is paramount that the person not only can translate, but also be creative.

Furthermore, the Content and Creative team works to create a unified, engaging experience for current and future customers. By crafting creative content for all touchpoints along the customer journey, their team strives to engage the customer with content that is as informative and inspirational as it is welcoming, caring and reliable.

The role as copywriter 

Accountable for writing short digital copies, for a variety of platforms across the customer journey, but also translating from English into Swedish.

·        Assisting in social media campaigns by writing targeted posts and email newsletters in local language.

·        Identify and understand customers’ needs to be able to create and align content to those needs. 

·        Responsible for conducting topic research and interviews in order to create successful content.

·        Following an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of team, to ensure timely delivery of materials. 

·        Accountable for ensuring high editorial standards and consistency of style and tone are maintained in line with brand and editorial guidelines. 

·        Accountable for translations of written content that serves to motivate, inspire, educate, inform or sell depending on where our audiences are along the customer journey. 

Personality traits that fit the role and the team:

• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and research skills for various digital channels.
• Proven record of excellent, English to Swedish, translation skills, demonstrated in a professional portfolio. 
• A friendly and open-minded personality.
• Ability to think creatively and collaboratively, take initiative and present a wide variety of ideas.
• Ability to work during agreed-upon hours set together to maximize collaboration.
• Min 3 years’ experience of social copy writing and longer web-oriented texts, preferably travel focused. 

Location: Gothenburg, Remote preferably (but not necessary). Possibility to be in the office

Start: April 2nd

Scope: 75% 

Rate: max 550 SEK/H
