Tester – Bank/Financial Services

Our client is looking for a Senior tester with experience from Swedish bank/financial services, user acceptance, regression and functional testing. The tester will be a part of our clients test team decomposing the business and functional requirements into test case scenarios, defining test data, managing test case creation and other preparation activities, as well as executing manual functional and UAT testing, submit, track, and validate defects.

The candidate must develop knowledge of the applications, functionality and business process to verify that the software works according to user requirements. In addition, suitable candidate for this role has experience with end-to-end software system testing.

Place: Stockholm, 2 to 3 days onsite on our clients office

Exent: 100%.

Main responsibilities

• Review functional and technical documentation in order to identify requirements for the creation of test cases.
• Create, modify, and execute precise manual test cases to business requirements for application functionality, document and report results.
• Knowledge of test data requirements, planning and conditioning test data for complex test scenarios
• Submit, track, and validate defects.
• Work with business testers as needed to support User Acceptance Testing
• Execute all level of testing (e.g., UAT, integration, regression) and analyze results.
• Help to identify regression and user acceptance test set to be used during FAT.
•  Help to identify end-to-end test coverage. 

Skills

• Familiarity with agile frameworks
• Experience with Jira or equivalent bug tracking software (DevTrack, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills in English (Swedish is appreciated)
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to independently plan and execute day to day work.
• Manual testing experience required.
• UAT, regression, functional, testing experience required.
• Experience with end-to-end software system testing required.
• Testing experience from Swedish bank/finance services required
• Testing experience from complex system landscape, long flows across several applications required
