Test Engineer

Role:

Do test analysis together with your team.

Create and document both manual and automated test procedures.

Plan, execute tests, analyze results and report issues and anomalies during the entire software development lifecycle.

Continuously perform regression testing whenever there are new changes to the code.

Manage test cars and test environments to ensure system under test.

Collaborate with your team as well as other teams and stakeholders.

Be part of Volvo Cars test community and collaborate with other testers.

Assuring knowledge of and visualize overall software quality.

Essential requirements:

M.Sc in Software Engineering or equivalent experience through years of practice.

Several years’ experience of software test, preferably within automotive.

Well familiar with testing methodologies such as exploratory testing, test analysis.

Proven skills in test automation, using Robot framework, Python or similar language.

Experience of troubleshooting methodology.

Clear in communication both oral and written.

Previous experience agile ways of working.

Self-motivated
